MEN'S OPEN BASEBALL LEAGUE:
For the past 85 years New Brunswick Recreation has hosted the New Brunswick Men's Open Baseball league. The league now features 18 teams from throughout greater Middlesex County. Teams currently consist of some of the best collegiate players, past major league baseball players, and great recreational players. ADULT SOCCER LEAGUES:
New Brunswick Recreation is proud to support the New Brunswick Soccer Organization in New Brunswick. NBSO currently provides one of the largest adult soccer leagues in the state of New Jersey. Currently the New Brunswick Soccer Organization provides open soccer for adults of all levels of skill. The New Brunswick Soccer Organization currently has more than 100 teams from the greater New Brunswick community. MEN'S SOFTBALL OR COED SOFTBALL:
New Brunswick Recreation provides adult softball leagues and Coed Softball leagues beginning in May and continuing through August annually. We play our games in Buccleuch Park, Alice Jennings Archibald Park, Alec Baker Park and Joyce Kilmer Park. For more info please contact our Softball coordinator Mike Mahoney at (732) 672-5493.
COED VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE:
This year we began a co-ed volleyball league on Wednesday evenings and are looking for more adults that wish to participate. Please join us in the months of January and February on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm at Paul Robeson School for this program. Paul Robeson School is located at 199 Commercial Avenue in New Brunswick, NJ.
We are looking to add participants and teams to our leagues in all sports. Our new co-ed softball and volleyball leagues are beginning to expand. | HUB FITNESS CENTER:
We have a wonderful fitness center and dance studio available for adult memberships and programs at the Hub Recreation Center located at 411 Joyce Kilmer Avenue in New Brunswick. Memberships are only $125 per year or $75 for a six month program. Our facility provides plenty of cardiovascular equipment, free weights, dumbbells, spinning bikes, exercise machines and more. We also have a dance studio with yoga, boxing, and multiple dance classes. For a free one day trial membership or an application, please call Walter or Molly at (732) 745-5170 or (732) 745-5125.
