Heather Zurich pictured above serves as a counselor in the summer time for our ProActive Sports Camp. Al Dixon from the NFL and Darryl Dawkins from the NBA have helped many times with our celebrity games, sports clinics, and camps. Special thanks to the many local celebrities that help with our Special events. In past year's we have had help from Eric Murdock, John Celestand, Troy Bowers, Darryl Dawkins, and Jabbar Jones from the NBA. Special thanks as well to many players from the NFL to include: Al Dixon, Perry Williams, Steven Baker, Odessa Turner, Chad Bratzke, David Patton, and Lawrence Taylor. Christie Pearce (Gold Medalist -US Olympic & World Cup Soccer teams), Donna Weinbrect (Gold Medalist - US Ski Team), and Joetta Clark Diggs (Silver medalist - US Olympic Track Team) have also been extremely helpful in supporting our efforts.
Youth Basketball Leagues:
Kids ages 6-16 are encouraged to participate in the winter indoor basketball leagues. All of our winter basketball leagues are currently playing games, clinics, and practices at the Lord Stirling School gymnasium located at 101 Redmond Street in New Brunswick. Our Basketball Leagues begin with Hot Shots Basketball with boys and girls ages 7-9. We have a Junior League for boys and girls ages 10-12. Our Intermediate League is for teens ages 13-16.
